LINTEC Information Technologies AG today applied to Frankfurt Stock Exchange´s Board of Admissions for the listing of its shares to be changed from the Prime Standard (the segment of the Regulated Market with further disclosure obligations) to the General Standard.
The Prime Standard is designed for companies keen to address the international capital markets. However, any additional benefits resulting for LINTEC are easily outweighed by the financial expenditure and additional strain on employees resulting from the extra constant reporting and other associated obligations. The CEO has therefore decided take advantage of the savings achieved by switching to the General Standard.
Since segment changes can only take place three months after approval has been granted by the Board of Admissions at Frankfurt Stock Exchange, LINTEC shares are expected to be traded on the General Standard as of January 2006.
