Orange and in4U AG enable mobile data synchronisation without an own server - Groundbreaking market innovation for small and medium businesses
Lausanne (ots)
For the first time in Switzerland, and only with Orange and in4U AG, very small, small and medium businesses can now synchronise Microsoft Outlook applications and data (emails, calendar entries, contacts and to-do lists) with the Orange SPV and the Orange SPV E100 directly via GPRS, without the need for their own MS Exchange application or MS Mobile Information Server.
The Orange SPV and the Orange SPV E 100 are the only Smart Devices to offer the possibility of synchronising emails, contacts, calendar entries and to-do lists in Microsoft Outlook directly via GPRS while on the move. Until now only medium and large businesses with their own MS Exchange application or MS Mobile Information Server have been able to take advantage of this functionality.
In conjunction with in4U AG, Orange now offers this possibility for the first time to very small, small and medium businesses without their own MS Exchange application or MS Mobile Information Server.
A Lyss-based company (BE), in4U AG has specialised in the running of data centres for small and medium businesses for 10 years and, as an ASP (Application Service Provider), also offers hosting of Microsoft Outlook accounts for Orange business clients. Therefore, direct mobile access to MS Outlook data with an Orange SPV is now possible without a server.

With this offer, the monthly hosting-fee of CHF 25.--, the monthly lump sum of CHF 15.-- for the non-restricted data synchronisation, including test-account, as well as the monthly fee of CHF 5.-- for Orange Express Option (GPRS) are for free.
