Orange Video Service further develops scope for mobile phones

To coincide with the arrival of the SPV, the first Microsoft Windows-powered mobile phone, about a year ago, Orange launched a mobile portal specifically for the all-in-one mobile and mini-PC. For the first time, it was possible for users to view film trailers or the day's headlines as a video sequence on their mobile phone at the press of a button. Orange has now further developed this offer. Now you can watch video news from n-tv, EuroNews, TV5 or CNBC, as well as comedy and cartoons via WAP, Internet or the Orange Mobile Internet with a variety of mobile phones.
Whether you have a Nokia 3650, 3660, 7650 or 6600, a SonyEricsson P800, the Orange SPV classic, SPV E100 or SPV E200, access to video services is now child's play. Simply log onto the Orange Mobile Internet via WAP or the Internet browser on your mobile phone, install the Orange Media Player and you're away! Up-to-date news from n-tv, EuroNews, TV5 or CNBC on politics, economics and sport can be comfortably seen and heard in the form of video sequences adapted to the size of screen on your mobile phone.
If you feel like a laugh, go to the "Fun" section and select "comedy" or "cartoon". Or if you'd like a sneak preview of the film "Master and Commander" before it goes on general release, you can simply watch it on your mobile phone.
The Orange Media Player, which is required in order to use the Orange Video Service, will soon also be available for the Treo 600 and the SonyEricsson P900, in addition to the above-mentioned mobile phones.

News video content is updated three times a day seven days a week. Comedy and cartoon content is updated weekly.
