Lausanne (ots)
700 square metres - Orange will appear in this the biggest three-dimensional advertising area in Switzerland at Zurich Airport from 10 September. Thanks to a unique and memorable LED light installation we will in future be able to draw the attention of millions of flight passengers every year to our mobile phone company. Orange Switzerland is thus treading new ground in 3-D communication.
With the implementation of sensational 3-D branding in the new Airport Shopping Zone at Zurich Airport, Orange Switzerland is now treading new ground in communication. A unique installation has been created in a 700 square metres and-in terms of three-dimensional advertising-biggest area in Switzerland. In its centre there is a moving light sculpture. The successful message "The future's bright, the future's Orange" will thus be beamed in a spectacular, yet unobtrusive way to millions of people.
The "Orange Lightscape" consists of 475 glass rods stretching from floor to ceiling and equipped with energy-saving chains of LED lights. These generate the impression of a right angle hovering in space. Large-scale pictures from the world of Orange brands will be used in addition, supported by a moving news panel made up of light diodes. "Onlookers will take on board the message of Orange and be captivated by the high quality transformation and entertainment value. The space gains additional appeal because of the presence of Orange. This unique Orange branding supports the harmonious, exquisite and overall peaceful impression", commented Sven Jasper, Project Manager at Orange Switzerland.
This exquisite project was conceptually designed and implemented by a company by the name of The GCGroup AG in Zurich. Since the year 2000, this specialist in 3D-communication has implemented many sensational projects for this mobile phone provider, including the Orange Dome, the Orange Cube and the Orange Expo Boat. Recently, the concept, design and construction of the furnishings and fittings of 31 Swiss Orange Shops were successfully completed. "We are setting new standards in 3-D communication with the art installation at the airport", said Patrik Gubser, CEO of The GCGroup AG, "Here, unlike the increasingly gigantic mega-sized posters with gaudy slogans, we are successfully arousing a completely new kind of emotion which will astonish onlookers and convey the brand values of our client in a subtle and yet effective and sustained way."
