TeleTrader Software AG (Vienna Stock Exchange: TTAG, ISIN: AT 0000713854) announced the appointment of Dr. Johannes Osrael (30) as member of the management board effective January 1st 2011. Dr. Osrael will assume responsibility as Chief Technology Officer of the company.
The chairman of the board of TeleTrader, Mr. Christian Baha, emphasized that the appointment of Dr. Osrael as member of the board of TeleTrader is critical for the development of a high-end terminal application for banks, brokers, investment funds and hedge funds as well as pension funds and insurance companies.
Dr. Osrael, who has been a software architect at TeleTrader for almost three years, will assume responsibility for the high-end application development. In addition, he will oversee the whole TeleTrader Market Data Server and Technical Infrastructure as well as the development of a platform for automated-trading.
Johannes Osrael has graduated at the Technical University in Vienna in computer engineering. After graduating in 2004, Osrael served as assistant professor at the Institute for Information Systems. During his 3-year engagement at the University, he successfully completed his PhD within an international research project.
