Today, the Supervisory Board of Solar-Fabrik AG (ISIN DE0006614712)
has agreed to the retirement of Mr. Georg Salvamoser from being the
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company as of December 31, 2006.
After accomplishing the strategic re-organisation and successful
extension of Solar-Fabrik AG to a fully integrated, international
solar group, the founder of the Company and recent CEO will retire
and be released from his operational responsibilities at year-end
2006. Mr. Salvamoser’s initial goals have been accomplished,
therefore, he would like to focus his attention on superior tasks
within the German solar industry. Mr. Salvamoser will continue to
support Solar-Fabrik by consulting the management and Supervisory
Board. In addition, he will maintain one of the main shareholders of
the Company. In it’s meeting today, the Supervisory Board of
Solar-Fabrik AG has appointed the current CFO, Mr. Christoph
Paradeis, to become the new Chairman of the Board as of January 1,
2007. Due to the actual and forecasted Group figures, Solar-Fabrik is
already able to announce an EBIT-marge of more than 5% for 2006. For
2007, sales are expected to increase by 70% to 130 million EUR. The
planned EBIT-marge is expected to be at least 10%.
