Solar-Fabrik AG (ISIN: DE0006614712) drove up sales in Q2-2010 by ca. 90% to ca. EUR 64 Mio compared to EUR 34 Mio in Q1-2010, leading to EUR 98 Mio revenue in first half 2010. (H1-2009 was EUR 48 Mio.). This is perceived an adequate ramp-up towards further growth in the second half of 2010 and positions the German PV pioneer successfully in a dynamic market environment.
This growth clearly supports Solar-Fabrik´s strategy of continuously winning market share and gaining further market momentum. Another important aspect is that the additional volume supports the growing customer base and therefore demonstrates impressively the value of a win-win partnership, also portrayed in the company´s promise of secure supply - "play it safe".
The fast growing market is a constant challenge to the entire supply chain and Solar-Fabrik has managed these challenges in a very reliable manner. It´s also a proof that true supply chain partnerships are a virtually optimum solution in this dynamic market and can best support further growth.
The success on the supply side is converted into long term customer partnerships focussed on sustainable profitable growth, which will also shift the regional focus towards the Mediterranean countries. Solar-Fabrik started direct sales activities in Italy and further strengthened their existing French sales force. Both countries already contribute a major part of the 2010 growth. More countries will be announced until the end of the year to further support mid term growth.
The Q2-2010 financial results will be reported on August 13, 2010.
