The Structure Group Assists Eneco To Deliver Enhanced European Trading Capability

The Structure Group, a premier international consulting and software company providing solutions for the deregulated energy industry, has partnered with Eneco Energiehandelsbedrijf B.V, the trading entity of Holland's third-largest energy distributor, to implement the Vedaris Contango energy trading suite. The Structure Group also assisted Eneco in establishing its new back-office operation.

Structure's remit was to reorganize and complete the testing and implementation of Eneco's new energy trading system in order to meet a very tight timeline for the systems to be in live use. Structure also worked closely with traders, schedulers, risk managers, credit managers and back-office personnel to help define business processes around the new systems.

Eneco also engaged The Structure Group to provide industry expertise in supporting the establishment of Eneco's first back-office department. The Structure Group helped transition counterparty credit risk assessment, invoicing, counterparty confirmations and broker confirmations from a third party to allow Eneco to successfully perform these functions in-house.
