Co-Production of MIM AG within Mondo Group:
"Letters from Felix" to Be Produced with ndF (E)

MIM MONDO IGEL MEDIA AG and Mondo TV S.p.A., majority shareholder of MIM AG, signed a deal memo today with the ndF (neue deutsche Filmgesellschaft mbH) for the co-production of two animated feature films and the second season of a TV series of 26 episodes of 13 minutes each, based on the famous German childrens books "Letters from Felix".
The Mondo Group obtains the theatrical, TV, pay TV, home video and DVD rights exclusively for Italy, Malta, Italian-speaking Switzerland and Spanish-speaking territories. It is also co-owner of the worldwide rights. Furthermore, the Mondo Group has the exclusive distribution rights for theatrical, TV, pay TV, home video and DVD worldwide with the exception of German-speaking territories, Malaysia, Korea and Israel.
Production will be completed between July and December 2004.
Also participating in the production are: the German broadcaster ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen), which has a total market share of over 13%, making it one of the three most-viewed broadcasters in Gemany; and Caligari Film GmbH, an independent production company in Munich.
