Quarter in Four Years; Mondo TV Increases Participation

MIM MONDO IGEL MEDIA AG closed the third quarter of 2004 with a net profit for the first quarter since 2000. The two current animation co-productions were major contributors to this development, as was the emphasis on cost management, with a 40% reduction in costs as compared to the same period in 2003.
MIM attracted almost half a million Euros of new investment with the recent capital increase, which was completed in October. The majority shareholder, Mondo TV S.p.A., took advantage of this opportunity to increase its participation in MIM to almost 60%.
