JoWooD Productions Software AG announces the appointment of Magister Maximilian H. Tinauer, MBA to the Executive Board on June 3rd 2005. Mr. Tinauer as a Chief Operating Officer (COO) will, among other things, be responsible for process organisation, controlling and finance.
After restructuring measures concerning debtors, creditors, new business contracts as well as the product strategy the next important steps are to increase the internal efficiency and enhance the development of the process organisation in accordance with the previously announced restructuring measures.
Mr. Tinauer has graduated in Business Administration with specialisation on tax, finance and controlling issues, in Klagenfurt (Austria).
His professional career spans some 13 years of business experience including 8 years within the family run tax accounting company and 5 years management functions ranging from a commercial project and business manager and finally internal Audit Manager at the international group Hirsch-Armbänder GmbH in Klagenfurt (Austria).
Additionally to that Mr. Tinauer has a postgraduate MBA degree from the university in Kansas City (USA).
The chairman of the Supervisory Board, Andreas Rudas said concerning the appointment:
"For further positive development of JoWooD it is necessary that beside the recent successful worldwide distribution agreements that the internal restructuring issues are continued. It is not efficient to have all tasks focused on just one person. It is better to support the CEO with a financially experienced COO. We are looking forward to welcome Mr. Tinauer on board."
