Four leading figures in the payment industry today announced that they have joined forces to create the Quadria Group. Over the next several months, Quadria plans to bring together an integrated group of companies to provide turnkey payment software, integration, processing, CRM, and fraud prevention and detection solutions. Quadria's solutions and services will serve businesses across the entire payment spectrum, including global financial institutions, retailers, and payment processors.
Led by former Oasis Technology co-founders Ashraf Dimitri and Sunny Siu, Quadria also includes former long-term Oasis principals Jorge Noguera and Tony Horrell. Together, Quadria's executives bring several decades of business and technical expertise in the payments industry, proven management capabilities, and trusted relationships with established payment industry partners. As former members of Oasis' management team, Quadria's founders were responsible for developing the foundation technology for the IST(R) brand of payment products and increasing Oasis' installed footprint in more than 70 countries. Oasis, based in Toronto, is a leading provider of payment products designed for every stage of the payment processing lifecycle, including transaction switching, authorization, interchange, clearing and settlement.
In late 2002, Quadria launched the first of its payment companies, Makeena Corporation. A full-service solutions provider and system integrator based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Makeena delivers comprehensive solutions for end-to-end payment processing for any payment type, from any device, at any time. In addition to Makeena, Quadria plans to selectively acquire new businesses and products that enhance the value proposition and performance of its integrated suite of payment solutions.
