Stuttgart, January 19, 2006 - Heiler Software AG, one of the leading provider of electronic product information solutions and catalog management systems, increased Group revenues in the first quarter of fiscal 2005/06 (10/01/2005 - 12/31/2005) by 44% from 1.50 million Euro to 2.16 million Euro and so reached profitability. The growth in revenues stems mainly from the strong increase of license revenues, which almost quadrupled from 0.17 million Euro to 0.65 million Euro when compared to the corresponding period of the prior year. Maintenance-, hosting-, and so-called Application Service Providing (ASP)-revenues increased from 0.33 million Euro to 0.40 million Euro (+21%). Consulting revenues improved from 0.95 million Euro to 1.04 million Euro (+9%).
The growth in revenues led to an improvement of earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) from -0.30 million to 0.06 million Euro. Net income improved from -0.19 million Euro to 0.14 million Euro and earnings per share improved from -0.02 Euro to 0.01 Euro.
The positive business development stems mainly from deals with new customers within the foreign countries of Europe and the US and pertained to solutions for the product information management as well as to catalog management systems.
