of Executive Board (E)

W.O.M. WORLD OF MEDICINE AG reduces the size of its Executive Board from six to three members.
The founder of the company, Mr. Peter P. Wiest, will continue to act as President/CEO. Dr. Clemens Scholz will serve as Chief Operating Officer and Mr. Michael Ott will continue as WORLD OF MEDICINE´s Chief Financial Officer.
The previous Board Members Jörg Baffy-Schättler and Carl-Christian Thier will continue to lead their respective departments. The previous Board Member Peter Hammerschmidt will leave the company. The areas of responsibility of the previous Board Members will be integrated into the new management structure.
After implementation of cost saving measures of EUR 3.5 million per year, the restructuring of the Board of the company is a further step of WORLD OF MEDICINE to streamline its operations and to achieve its goal of significant improvements of its financial results.
