The Management Board of W.O.M. WORLD OF MEDICINE AG (WOM - ISIN: DE0006637390), a company listed in the Prime Standard of the German Stock Exchange, resolved, with the approval of its Supervisory Board, to utilize authorized capital stock in accordance with §5, Paragraph 5e of the Company By-Laws, and to undertake an increase in share capital by 800,000 shares, to the exclusion of shareholders pre-emptive right to purchase new issues. The shares were placed by Seydler AG Securities and Financial Services, Frankfurt am Main, with institutional investors at a price of EUR 3.02 per individual share. This corresponds to a nominal value of EUR 2,416,000.00. Recording of the increase in share capital in the Commercial Register at the Coburg District Court, as well as the registration of the new shares, will be effected immediately. After the capital increase, the share capital amounts to EUR 9,000,000.00 and is divided into 9,000,000.00 individual share certificates.
Through this action, WORLD OF MEDICINE has achieved greater flexibility in particular in the financing of future growth in the core business of Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS).
