CreekPath Systems®, an award winning, independent software vendor helping organizations obtain the maximum value from their IT storage operations, today announced support of the CNT FC/9000 Fibre Channel/FICON Director product. The addition of the CNT Process Automation Module (PAM) to the CreekPath Suite will help customers secure and simplify the management of the entire storage environment.
The CreekPath Suite has the most extensive storage array and interconnect device support in the industry and continues to extend this with the release of the CNT PAM. The CreekPath PAMs contain knowledge of how to monitor and manage specific storage elements to enable self-regulated automatic policy-based storage management and provisioning. The CreekPath PAMs have built-in knowledge of the operating characteristics of the elements for monitoring purposes and manage the interface between the CreekPath Platform and the storage elements.
The CreekPath CNT PAM has detailed knowledge of the operating characteristics of the FC/9000 and manages the interface between the CreekPath Platform and the storage elements. From a single pane of glass the CreekPath Suite supports the discovery, visualization, monitoring, reporting and provisioning for the CNT FC/9000 easing the overall management of the environment and improving staff efficiencies.
