S&T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG ("S&T", Vienna
Stock Exchange: SNT, NASDAQ Europe: SNTS, OTC: STSQY) has won a major
contract to implement the enterprise planning software MAX+ at the
Polish and Czech subsidiaries of the British industrial group IMI Plc
(IMI). After successful implementation, another 11 Central and East
European countries will follow. S&T won this major international
contract because it is the only company that is represented in all
countries of the region with branches of its own and which develops
and also implements local language versions.IMI plc is a British industrial group that manufactures beverage dispensing systems and fluid controls. It employs around 19,000 employees throughout the world and records sales of EUR 2.3 billion. In Eastern Europe, IMI operates in 20 countries and wishes to implement new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software in order to optimise its business processes. Poland and the Czech Republic will be the first two countries to receive the new software, upon successful implementation 11 others will follow.
The ERP software MAX+ was developed by SSA Global Technologies (SSA GT), a leading supplier of enterprise planning software, and is marketed in Central and Eastern Europe exclusively by S&T. At present S&T is developing the local language versions and will also be responsible for their implementation. The new software allows companies to make improvements in a number of areas, providing for example, a faster financial information system, optimised production control and improved customer management.
Other advantages of MAX+ include rapid integration within the company, low total costs which promises rapid amortisation, as well as its highly competitive but user-friendly technology.
