Constance, 10 December 2003 - Bernd Fessler (36), CFO of Sunways AG
(ISIN DE0007332207), will leave the company as of 31 December 2003.
Until further notice, he will act as an adviser to Sunways.

Sunways AG is still experiencing a strong growth phase. Recently,
there were differences of opinion between the supervisory board and
Bernd Fessler with respect to the company’s further strategic
development and the details of the expansion of its distribution
activities. As no understanding could be reached, Mr. Fessler is
leaving the company of his own accord and by mutual agreement.

"We very much regret Mr. Fessler’s decision and would like to thank
him for his valuable services", stated Dr. Roland Bahr, chairman of
the supervisory board.

Fessler joined the company in October 2000 and was instrumental in
the public offering and stock exchange listing of  Sunways in
February 2001.
