Cologne, 3 November 2005 - DocCheck® AG, Cologne, (ISIN DE0005471007 // Symbol 547100), formerly antwerpes ag, achieved sales totalling 2.5 million euro and an EBIT totalling 0.14 million euro in the 3rd quarter of the financial year 2005. Therefore, in the first nine months, sales increased slightly by 2 per cent, rising from 7.8 to 8.0 million euro. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) improved during this period, rising from 0.19 million euro to 0.26 million euro.
In the DocCheck® division there was a 32 per cent increase in sales, rising from 3.1 million euro to 4.1 million euro, when compared to the first nine months of the previous year. Sales in the Communication division totalled 3.8 million euro, which represented a 18 per cent decrease when compared to sales during the same period in the previous year.
Profit per share amounts to 7 cent. DocCheck AG is expecting to achieve sales ranging between 10.7 and 10.9 million euro and an EBIT ranging between 0.4 and 0.5 million euro for the whole year.
