K+S anticipates
operating earnings of about 250 million euros for 2005

According to its preliminary earnings projection, the K+S Group expects to post operating earnings (EBIT I) of about 250 million euros for the 2005 financial year. Earlier, operating earnings between 225 and 235 million euros were projected. The increase was due to the good business development at the end of last year particularly in the Salt business segment and in the Potash and Magnesium Products business segment.
