Tier 1 South American Service Provider Deploys Award-Winning Software From Syndesis - Discovery Solution Ensures Data Integrity and Improves Fulfillment Efficiency

A Tier 1 South American service provider has selected and deployed Syndesis' award-winning, automated network upload and synchronization solution, the software vendor reported today. With the Syndesis® NetDiscover-based solution, the Tier 1 provider has automated physical and logical network upload and resynchronization for its next generation, multi-service network and is now able to maintain the accurate network visibility essential for efficient service delivery and network operations.
By rapidly uploading network and service data directly from the provider's network of equipment from Cisco Systems, Juniper Systems, and Nortel Networks, the Syndesis solution first enabled the provider to efficiently and accurately populate its database of record, dramatically speeding the deployment of a new inventory system. The provider now maintains the integrity of this database through regular, dynamic network synchronization. Based on Syndesis' accurate network model, the provider has also been able to identify and recover stranded network assets, reconcile client billing information against its in-service network configuration, and improve the efficiency of its service fulfillment processes. Recognizing these benefits, the provider plans to leverage the Syndesis deployment as the foundation for a larger fulfillment project, culminating in the full automation of its provisioning process for a range of broadband data services.
