The Monaco World Summit selects WISeKey to provide e-security awareness on the occasion of the 6th International Summit on Transnational Crime, including how to address the issues relating to security, legislation, counterfeiting, information and communications technology
WISeKey is making available for the Monaco World Summit its unique technology and trust model providing the mechanisms that can be used to build truly scaleable security services worldwide. The new WISeKey PKI based on its Windows 2003 CertifyID product will be demonstrated as a world premier during 6th International Summit on Transnational Crime in Monaco, where Senior representatives of the business world together with Heads of Government, Ministers (Finance, Economy, Justice, Interior), Speakers and Members of Parliament, representatives of international organisations, Governors of Central Banks and Officials in charge of banking and budgetary control, judges, officers and experts of specialised police and security bodies, organisations specialised in the prevention and prosecution of money laundering, academics and media will attend.
This event is unique due to the high level synergies between the participants. Over the past few years, this Summit has become required attendance for all decision-makers in the banking, financial, industrial, and commercial sectors as well as for consultants, lawyers, accountants and tax advisers. The Summit considers and deals with concerns that are essential today for the credibility of any company doing business across national borders. Transnational crime will be a defining issue of the 21st century for policymakers - as important as the Cold War was for the 20th century and colonialism was for the 19th.
WISeKey will be assisting participants at the Summit to fully comprehend the issues relating to security, legislation, counterfeiting, information and communications technology as a needed vehicle to increase the security required to improve the delivery, quality and accessibility of public services built around the needs of the citizen and customer. Mr. Carlos Moreira, Chairman and Co-Founder of WISeKey will be providing a keynote speech at the Official opening session, Mr. Malcolm Hutchinson, CEO and Co-Founder of WISeKey will be moderating the Counterfeiting and Organized Crime and Mafias session and Juan Avellan, VP WISeKey will be speaking at the session Crime and Commercial Companies.
