DuPont Titanium Technologies Announces a Price Increase for Florida Zircon Sands

DuPont Titanium Technologies today announced a price increase for all DuPont Florida Zircon Sands.
Effective January 1, 2005, or as permitted by contract, DuPont is increasing the prices of its Florida Zircon Sands by US$100 per ton in the U.S. (US$110 per tonne outside of the U.S.).
The price increase is based on unprecedented robust market demand across all segments and high capacity utilization rates.
DuPont Titanium Technologies produces world-class mineral sands at its mining operation located in Starke, Fla. Zircon is a key ingredient in the production of ceramic tiles, refractories, Zirconia chemicals and metals.
