DuPont Titanium Technologies Announces a Price Increase for Titanium Dioxide Grades in EMEA Region
Wilmington, Delaware (ots/PRNewswire)
DuPont Titanium Technologies today announced a price increase in Europe and the Middle East for all DuPont(TM) titanium dioxide grades.
Effective Feb. 1, 2005, or as permitted by contract, prices for all titanium dioxide grades in Europe will increase 120 Euro per tonne and 150 US$ per tonne in the Middle East.
These price increases are necessary due to the need to improve reinvestment economics required for capital funding to support industry growth. These increases are also supported by macro-economic strength driving very strong global TiO2 demand and extremely high industry capacity utilization rates, supporting worldwide recovery.
Other increases are being announced currently elsewhere in the world.
