Nissan Reports May Sales in Europe

Trappes, France (ots/PRNewswire)

Nissan Europe reported total
sales of 50,083 vehicles (X) in May 2007, an increase of 3.6%
compared to the same month last year.
The success of Nissan's compact crossover, QASHQAI, continues with
an impressive order bank which has now reached 60,000 units.

interior and promises enhanced on-road performance.
Furthermore, the successful launch of Tiida has also contributed
to Nissan's performance this month, which is now on sale in the
following markets; Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland,
Ireland, the Baltics, Greece and which will be distributed in Russia,
Ukraine, and Kazakhstan in November.
COUNTRY HIGHLIGHTS
  • For the region of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, Nissan sold 13,147 units in May, registering an increase of 109.59% compared to the same month last year.
