Nissan Reports Record November Sales in Europe

Nissan reported a record November for sales in Europe with 49,168 units, up by 14.5% year on year. Year to date, Nissan has sold 521,285 units, up 6.2% compared with 2006.
Once again, sales were up for the eighth consecutive month and Nissan saw growth not only in Eastern Europe but also saw strong performances in the major markets across Western Europe.
Furthermore, Russia broke the 100,000 milestone with 108,733 units sold year to date, representing an increase of 62.8% year on year.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The QASHQAI compact cross-over continues its success with 13,051 units sold in October.
- Italy sold 5,300 vehicles (+53% year on year), UK sold 5,685 (+16% year on year) and France sold 3,952 units (+12.9% year on year).
- The Tiida compact model is selling well with 2,452 units sold this month. Nissan is now gearing up to launch the model in further markets in January 2008 (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal).
