Adis International Recognized for its Strong Dedication to Employee Development

- Accepts Prestigious 2004 'Investors in People' Award
Wolters Kluwer Health, Pharma Solutions business unit today announced that Adis International was named a 2004 "Investor in People" by the Investors in People UK Recognition Panel. The London-based organization assesses corporate business practices against a national standard and recognizes only those companies that meet or exceed those requirements.
The Adis offices in Chester, Oxford and London were recognized for a superior commitment to supporting the development of its people. A full-scale assessment, which included interviews with 31 employees, determined that the company had moved forward, improved methods of communication and forged a "very positive attitude and atmosphere from staff."

"Investors in People" is a national standard that sets out a level of good practice for training and development of people to achieve business goals. The Investors in People (UK) program was established in 1993 to provide national ownership of the Investors in People Standard and is responsible for its promotion and branding, quality assurance and development. Since 1991, tens of thousands of UK employers have become involved with the standard.
