Medex Announces Tsunami Relief Efforts

- Medex Commits More Than US$1.4 Million in Medical Product Contributions
Medex, a global manufacturer and marketer of medical devices, announced today that it has authorized medical product donations of more than US$1.4 million to assist with relief efforts throughout tsunami-affected countries and other regions requiring assistance. Working through AmeriCares, International Health Partners, SriLankan Cares and other humanitarian agencies, Medex is providing medical products for use throughout these regions. In addition to these product donations, certain Medex employees at international facilities have elected to divert a portion of their compensation as direct monetary contributions to relief efforts.
