Supervisory Board member Dr. Hans Heinrich von Srbik today notified the company that he will be resigning from office with effect from 26 December 2007, allowing the financial investor, One Equity Partners, which holds a majority interest in Süd-Chemie Aktiengesellschaft via the company SC-Beteiligungsgesellschaft GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, to gain an additional seat on the Supervisory Board. Mr. Christian Ratjen, the alternate member due to succeed Dr. von Srbik as a member of the Supervisory Board, has also resigned from office.
