Nuremberg, September 14, 2005 - Dr. Dietmar Scheiter, chief executive officer at TA Triumph-Adler AG, Nuremberg, will be leaving the company on September 30, 2005 now that the Group has been successfully restructured. Dr. Scheiter has been on the company's management board since 1994 and was appointed chief executive officer in 2001. In the past four years, he handled the comprehensive restructuring of the originally widely diversified mid-size holding to create an operative office communications company.
In the course of a comprehensive divestment program, TA Triumph-Adler sold 45 companies outside its core business and reduced the amount due to banks from 230 million euros to 65 million euros. At the same time, the company managed to strengthen their market position in its core business consistently. Furthermore, during his term the company integrated the strategic partner Kyocera Mita and restructured Group financing.
In accordance with the new focus as a consulting, sales, and service company for professional office communications, the management board will be reduced from four to three members. The spokesperson for the management board will be Robert Feldmeier, who is also the company's sales and marketing director. Robert Feldmeier has been handling the Imaging division (professional hardware and software solutions for printing, copying, scanning, faxing, presentations and archives) on the management board since 2001 and has expanded this division to become the market leader in Germany. Kyocera Mita, the strategic partner and major shareholder in the company, will continue to support the growth strategy of TA Triumph-Adler. Recently, marketing and sales initiatives have been entered into that Kyocera Mita is materially financing in order to increase the market shares of TA Triumph-Adler considerably and expand the Group's export business.
