According to its preliminary figures for the first quarter of the 2009/2010 financial year (September 2009 to November 2009), SinnerSchrader ended the quarter with an increase in net revenues of around 6 per cent and a rise in orders in the Interactive Marketing segment of around 17 per cent. The operating result (EBITA) improved slightly over the previous year's figure even though there were considerable start-up losses as planned in the new fields of business, particularly the Interactive Commerce segment, which did not affect the comparable period of the previous year.
This means that, in general, SinnerSchrader started the financial year on target, with surprising and welcome growth in incoming orders in the Marketing segment. The overall goals for the 2009/2010 financial year - an increase in net revenues of over 14 per cent and a disproportionately high rise in the operating result (EBITA) - can therefore be confirmed.
In the light of the positive expectations for the current 2009/2010 financial year, the Management Board and Supervisory Board proposed a dividend of EUR 0.08 per share at the Annual General Meeting today in Hamburg, to be paid from the results of the 2008/2009 financial year. This dividend will once again be paid from the tax-recognised contribution account and is thus tax-free for private individuals with minor holdings.
