ECO Business-Immobilien AG: Changes on the Management and Supervisory Boards
Vienna, 14 September 2010. ECO Business-Immobilien AG (Vienna Stock Exchange / Prime Market: ECO) is announcing changes on the Management Board and Supervisory Board in connection with the successful takeover by conwert Immobilien Invest SE and planned integration steps.
Wolfgang Gössweiner, Speaker of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer, has informed the ECO Supervisory Board that he will resign as of 30 September 2010. Alexander Schoeller, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, accepted Mr. Gössweiner´s resignation and acknowledged his services on behalf of the company: "As Speaker of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Gössweiner played a decisive role in the successful development of ECO, in both times of growth and crisis. He provided key support for ECO from the very beginning. His actions during the economic crisis were especially valuable, when he consolidated and returned ECO to a successful course with enormous personal commitment as well as his financial and real estate expertise. All that allowed him to realise an extremely attractive takeover price for our shareholders. We would like to thank Mr. Gössweiner for his dedication throughout the many business and economic cycles, and wish him all the best for a successful future".
The Supervisory Board appointed Elke Englert (43) to the Management Board of ECO Business-Immobilien AG as of 1 October 2010. Ms. Englert has been an officer of ECO Business-Immobilien AG since 2007 and will direct the company together with Frank Brün, her colleague on the Management Board.
In connection with the planned full takeover of ECO by conwert, the size of the Supervisory Board will be reduced. The following persons will resign from the ECO Supervisory Board as of 1 October 2010, Alexander Schoeller (Chairman), Franz Hörmann and Andreas Nittel. The Supervisory Board of ECO Business-Immobilien AG will then consist of three persons: Johann Kowar (Chairman), Thomas Rohr (Vice-Chairman) and Gottfried Johann Parizek (Member).
