During the first three months of the business year 2008/09, voestalpine Group continued its growth path as compared to the 1st quarter of the previous year, with revenues and profits soaring to new heights.
The development of the economy of all major key markets and customer industries of voestalpine Group remained positive throughout the first quarter of the business year 2008/09. From today´s point of view, achieving last year´s earnings levels seems very well secured - despite some uncertainties about the general development of the global economy.
