CHRIST WATER TECHNOLOGY takes over 51% of KF Service GmbH completing the product and process portfolio in the segment Food & Beverage.
With a globally installed base of 450 plants, the Ubstadt-Weiher, Germany, located KF is one of the leading manufacturers of process plants for the food and beverage industry with a staff of 53. The turnover in the Food & Beverage division is expected to grow by EUR 15mn after having realized a preliminary figure of EUR 23mn in 2005.
KF is focused on the pasteurisation of drinks and milk products. The competence of the company comprises engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of pasteurisation plants for the juice industry and UHT (Ultra High Temperature-process) plants for the milk industry. Vacuum deaeration plants for quality control of the end product, fully automated cleaning systems and product preparation lines complete the programme.
