Hamburg (euro adhoc) - Hamburg, 21 September 2011. In Italy Nordex is continuing
its partnership with the electricity generating company ERG Renew: ERG has
ordered nine N90/2500 turbines for the "Amaroni" wind farm in the South of the
country. Nordex will supply the machines as of May 2012 and take charge of
service for at least ten years.
The 22.5 megawatt "Amaroni" project is to be set up in the province of
Catanzaro. The site is located adjacent to the "Fossa del Lupo" wind farm, which
Nordex is currently commissioning with 39 N90/2500 turbines and also belongs to
ERG Renew. "Amaroni" will generate around 50 gigawatt hours a year.
The partnership with ERG Renew started with the "Vicari" wind farm, where 15
N90/2500 turbines went on grid in 2008. "We are very pleased to again be doing
business with ERG. This underlines our successful partnership and the confidence
that our customer has in our product", says Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, CSO at Nordex
SE.
