Verizon Business Receives Gold Awards and Best in Class in the Latest Telemark Customer Satisfaction Survey

- Telemark's Managed Data Network Services Survey Recognises Verizon Business' Exceptional Customer Support
Verizon Business, the premier provider of advanced global communications and information technology (IT) solutions, today announced that it achieved two Gold Awards and four "Best in Class" awards, as well as seven "excellent" ratings in Telemark's latest Managed Data Network Services (MDNS) -- Voice of the Customer: Benchmarking Customer Satisfaction survey, issue 21.
Verizon Business received two Telemark Gold Awards for outstanding performance for the following service attributes -- Notification of Network Problems and Technical Support. A Telemark Gold Award is made for satisfaction scores rated at more than 20 percent above the Benchmark Standard which represents the attainment of an exceptional level of customer satisfaction.
Verizon Business was noted with "excellent" ratings for seven individual attributes, including an "excellent" performance for Network Reliability -- one of the three more important service attributes according to customers' own assessments.
On an individual attribute basis, Verizon Business was awarded "Best in Class," the title awarded by Telemark to the highest scoring operator in a given category, for Notification of Network Problems, 24 Hour Transparent Maintenance, Prior Pilot Installation and Fault Reporting Process, all of which appear in the top ten of the 32 measured service attributes.
Verizon Business was also noted as the all-round "Best in Class" operator for the attribute category of Customer Support, in addition to being one of the top three operators for the additional attribute categories of Billing, Network Installation, and Network Operation. The six other global operators included in the MDNS report alongside Verizon Business are AT&T, BT, BT Infonet, Cable & Wireless, Equant and NTT.
