Cuxhaven, May 22, 2007 - New Energies Invest AG, Basle, a holding company founded by Bank Sarasin & Cie AG and managed by Remaco Merger AG , is participating with an investment of 4 mill. Euro in an increase in capital in the Danish SSP Technology A/S, a subsidiary of the German wind-farm projecter Plambeck Neue Energien AG (ISIN: DE000A0JBPG2) and takes 25 per cent of the shares. Plambeck Neue Energien AG will still have 70 per cent (currently about 92 per cent) of the shares of SSP Technology A/S. The Supervisory Board of Plambeck Neue Energien AG and the Shareholders' Meeting of SSP Technology A/S approved the contract of the increase in capital and thus the participation of New Energies Invest AG today.
As a result of the very positive development of business at SSP Technology A/S the current increase in capital will be held at a post-money valuation of 16 mill. Euro. The flow of funds with a volume of 4 mill. Euro from New Energies Invest AG enables SSP to strengthen its equity basis and to finance the planned growth strategy at home and abroad.
SSP Technology A/S is active in research and development of rotor blades for wind-energy systems and in the construction of moulds for the production of the rotor blades.
