Cuxhaven, June 15, 2007 - The wind-farm developer Plambeck Neue Energien AG (ISIN: DE000A0JBPG2), Cuxhaven, and GM Umwelt- und Energiewirtschaft GmbH, Dresden, are founding a joint venture for the development and realisation of wind-farm projects in Hungary. Plambeck Neue Energien AG will hold the majority of 79 per cent in the joint venture. Nine wind-farm projects with up to 130 wind turbines and a nominal output to be installed of up to 260 MW, which are in various phases of development, will be included in the joint venture. These wind-farm projects are to be realised until 2011 and with the realisation investments of around 300 million Euro are connected.
GM Umwelt- und Energiewirtschaft GmbH will take on the development of the wind-farm projects up to construction maturity in the joint venture. Plambeck Neue Energien AG will be responsible for selection and purchasing of the wind-energy systems, the project financing and sales as well as the commercial and technical operational management in the operating phase of the wind-farms.
The joint venture will bear the business name "Plambeck GM New Energy Hungary Kft." and have its headquarters in Hungary.
