Cuxhaven, 03 July 2008 - The German wind farm developer Plambeck Neue Energien AG (ISIN: DE000A0JBPG2), in Cuxhaven, continues to extend the development of wind-farm projects internationally. A joint-venture agreement with British project developer New Energy Development Ltd. (NED) for the establishment of a joint company to develop and implement wind farm projects in United Kingdom and Ireland is finally agreed today.
NED will have an 32,5 per cent stake in the joint venture. The Joint Venture will initially develop and commission wind farm projects with an installed capacity of 300 MW. The projects are at different stages of development and are planned for completion from 2010.
NED will be responsible for the development of the wind farm projects until planning approval or completion. Plambeck Neue Energien AG is to be responsible for the selection and procurement of the wind turbines, financing the development phase, project finance and sale to investors as well as the commercial and technical management.
