Wien (euro adhoc) - The 26th ordinary annual general meeting of AGRANA
Beteiligungs-AG today voted to payout a dividend in the amount of EUR3.60 per
share for the 2012|13 financial year. This is equivalent to that of the prior
year. "AGRANA has for years pursued a sustainable dividend policy according to
which around one third of the net earnings of each year are distributed to
shareholders," explains CEO Johann Marihart.
The AGM also discharged the members of the Management Board, Johann Marihart
(Chairman), Fritz Gattermayer, Walter Grausam and Thomas Kölbl as well as the
members of the Supervisory Board from their respective responsibilities for the
2012|13 financial year.
KPMG Austria AG Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Steuerberatungsgesellschaft, Vienna,
was reappointed to act as the auditor for the 2013|14 financial year.
The AGM also approved an amendment to paragraphs 8 and 13 of the company's
articles of association in order to take into account the revised legal
stipulations as a result of the promulgation of the Austrian Company Law
Amendment Act 2011 (GesRÄG 2011) which also triggered amendments to the Austrian
Stock Corporation Act (AktG).
