aleo solar AG today announced that it is recording a considerable upturn in business, further extended with new contracts signed at Intersolar 2009. Heiner Willers, member of the aleo solar Management Board, is satisfied with the event: "Intersolar 2009 is the key photovoltaic trade fair for the European solar industry. As a participant in the last 7 fairs, we have witnessed the huge growth in the industry. We can also see that quality and continuity are key factors for our customers - especially in a troubled environment. Even before the event, we were able to finalize contracts for 15 megawatts with specialist dealers in Germany and Italy. These contribute to our current total contract volume of 65 megawatts. In addition to this, total orders received at the event itself amounted to 5 megawatts."
Specialist dealers and installers in particular reacted positively to the announcement that aleo solar is introducing a 10-year product guarantee. This product guarantee will now complete the 25-year performance guarantee, underlining the premium quality of aleo modules.
Norbert Schlesiger, director Sales at aleo solar AG, has also noticed a significant upturn in business: "Our sales trend has taken a sharp upward turn. Revenue in May alone matched our entire first-quarter sales. We are highly confident that this positive trend will continue into the coming months. The photovoltaics market has finally turned into a buyer's market - rooftops in Europe are now the focus of the business. An own sales force, strong brand and premium quality will be the decisive factors for future business."
The construction of a European network with more than 800 specialist dealers across Europe highlights aleo solar's strengths as a distributor and led to above-average visitor interest at the trade fair.
