The Supervisory Board of OVB Holding AG today appointed Michael Rentmeister
(46) as the Chairman of the Executive Board and successor to Wilfried Kempchen
(67) effective 1 January 2012.
Kempchen, who is retiring, had announced that he would be leaving OVB Holding
AG by the end of 2012 at the latest, with the option of leaving earlier if a
suitable successor could be found.
Rentmeister, who is also succeeding Kempchen in his office as CEO of the German
subsidiary OVB Vermögensberatung AG, is coming from Bonnfinanz AG, a subsidiary
of the international Zurich Financial Services Group. Since 2006 he has been
CEO of Bonnfinanz AG.
