Antitrust Issues
Schwerte (euro adhoc) - Following our IR-News published on 23 November 2011,
DNick Holding plc has now received a letter from the German Cartel Office
(Bundeskartellamt) dated 23 December 2011 according to which
the German Cartel Office has officially confirmed that the acquisition of a
majority shareholding in DNick Holding plc by Wickeder Westfalenstahl GmbH and
Lustre Beteiligungs UG had to be filed with the German Cartel Office for prior
approval,
the arguments raised by Wickeder Westfalenstahl GmbH and Lustre Beteiligungs
UG in the course of the investigations of the relevant markets are not
sufficient to stop the proceedings and
the German Cartel Office will send out requests for further information to
market participants in due course.
It is uncertain when the proceedings will be completed.
