Büdelsdorf, 20 November 2008 - The management of freenet AG and the debitel Group has drawn up plans for the future of the freenet Group´s mobile telephony business, based on an analysis performed by debitel and freenet´s joint integration team. In order to achieve an optimised positioning for the future, freenet plans to eliminate around 1,000 full-time positions as part of the integration process. The objective is to streamline administrative departments and concentrate on departments with customer interaction.
