Büdelsdorf, 23 January 2009 - The freenet group subsidiary debitel AG today signed an agreement with Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH extending the exclusive distribution partnership with the electronics retailers Saturn and Media Markt through the end of the year 2011. This marks an early, long-term extension of the existing contract. freenet AG will continue to be the exclusive seller of mobile phone products by the carriers T-Mobile, Vodafone, O2 and E-Plus as well as its own products in Saturn and Media Markt stores. The deal underscores the importance of Germany's third-largest mobile telephony provider freenet to mobile phone distribution in the country. As a network-independent service provider, freenet is in a position to provide unbiased consultation to its customers and offer its distribution partners attractive added value.
