Büdelsdorf, 19th November 2009 - The Management Board of freenet AG has just passed a resolution to enter today into an agreement to sell the entire issued share capital of STRATO AG and STRATO Rechenzentrum AG to Deutsche Telekom AG. The agreed purchase price for the acquisition is 275 million euros, which is payable, subject to normal adjustments, in cash at closing. Closing of the transaction is subject to usual conditions, in particular the receipt of clearance from the German Federal Cartel Office. The supervisory boards of both companies have already approved the transaction.
