Mr. Roman Himmler, Chairman of Meinl Airport Managers Ltd. announced today the formation of a strategic partnership between Airport Design and Management Ltd. (ad-m), a worldwide active firm specialized in planning, airport design and strategic development and Meinl Airports International, a dedicated investor in airports and airport related businesses,listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange.
The partnership and long term framework agreement embodied within it will provide both Companies greater market strength to continue their pursuit of opportunities within the air transportation sector.
"MAI, although a new company, has a vast range of experience in the aviation sector at its disposal. The partnership with ad-m, also a highly respected and dynamic company, will offer a synergy of experience to the industry", said Mr. Himmler. He indicated that "this new partnership offers more than 100 years of experiences in the airport industry".
He further stated that "the way we manage our air transportation assets has changed. The management of those assets by private sector companies is now routine and growing more common each day. The complementary experience of MAI and ad-m serve the new management direction very well."
The partners have already started collaborating on a number of interesting projects within the sector and are enthused about the future. "We intend to be as dynamic as the industry we serve" said Mr. Himmler.
