Vienna, Frankfurt, 11.12.2008. The extraordinary
general meeting of C-QUADRAT Investment AG today authorised the 
Management Board to acquire up to 10% of the share capital of 
C-QUADRAT Investment AG in the form of par-value bearer shares. This 
authorisation is valid for a 30-month period as from the date of 
resolution; the permitted share price ranges from a minimum of EUR 1 
to a maximum of EUR 40. The Management Board was also authorised to 
redeem such repurchased treasury shares without requiring a separate 
general meeting resolution. The general meeting also authorised the 
Management Board to resell repurchased treasury shares, with 
exclusion of subscription rights for shareholders, in ways other than
on the stock market or as a public offering. Such resale requires the
consent of the Supervisory Board pursuant to Section 65 (1)b of the 
Stock Corporation Act (AktG), but not an additional resolution of the
general meeting.
