Vienna / Frankfurt, 03.07.2012. C-QUADRAT Investment AG (ISIN AT0000613005)
announces that a term sheet was signed on the possible acquisition of 100% of
the shares in Absolute Portfolio Management GmbH ("APM").
Absolute Portfolio Management GmbH is a Vienna domiciled Austrian Asset Manager
with focus on Absolute Return Funds, Microfinance- and Commodity Funds.
Currently APM manages assets of approximately EUR 430 million.
The purchase price, which is subject to negotiations, will amount to
approximately EUR 1.6 Mio. C-QUADRAT plans to finance this intended acquisition
with equity.
With the intended acquisition C-QUADRAT follows up its strategy to focus on
asset management as its core business and extends as well as diversifies its
current product range.
Subject to successful negotiation of the transaction documentation, the parties
aim at a signing of the transaction still in July 2012.
Among others the possible transaction requires the non-prohibition by the
Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA).
