Turkcell's Annual Report Voted "Best in World" in Telecoms Sector

Turkcell , the leading communications and technology company Turkcell, is delighted to announce that its 2010 Annual Report has been voted "best annual report in the world" in the telecoms sector by the League of American Communications Professionals LLC (LACP), one of the world's most prestigious public relations platforms. Separately, the report has received the "Gold" award worldwide in the "Best Narrative" category, and the "Platinum" award in the EMEA region.
In evaluating the award, Division Head of Turkcell's Investor and International Media Relations, Nihat Narin commented that, "We strive to provide both our company and our shareholders with maximum value, without compromising our principles of transparency, reliability, accountability, and trustworthiness. LACP jury members, who evaluated around 5,000 entries, awarded Turkcell's report 99 points out of 100. In evaluating their decision they stressed that while the annual report had received praise for its modern design, the "Get More out of Life with Turkcell" concept, in its expression and visuals was greatly liked.
Following the first place ranking of Turkcell's Annual Report in the telecoms sector was China Telecom in second, Hutchinson Telecom and Batelco in third, and Rogers Communication in fourth place.
